Position: Accounting Specialist
Pay: $30/hr
Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Location: Guntown, MS

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure transaction accuracy
• Conduct account analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with accrual accounting and ensure compliance with standards
• Support financial audits by providing documentation and explanations
• Collaborate to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
• Mentor junior staff on accounting practices as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• Proven expertise in accrual accounting and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
